Domo is opening a new store in Winmarkt and extending three units

The electronically devices and home care retailer Domo, occupying third place on the profile market, will be opening until May a 1.000 square meter store part of Winmarkt Magura in Bistrita shopping center and will extend owned stores part of the Winmarkt in Buzau, Braila and Vaslui shopping centers, that will be moved from the basement to the higher floors of the projects.

Domo holds other 5 stores part of Winmarkt in Ploiesti, Ramnicu-Valcea, Tulcea, Galati and Slatina shopping centers, for which the contracts have been protracted until 2014.

The development partnership comes two weeks after Winmarkt and Carrefour signed a contract in wich the French retailer will open three supermarkets in the Winmarkt units from Cluj, Bistrita and Turda.

Otherwise, the moving of Domo to the upper floors of the shopping center aim at the clearing of the lower spaces, to make way for the supermarket operators. Winmarkt is the largest shopping center range of small dimensions on the local market, with 15 units, being owned by the Italian group IGD, who bought it last year for 182 mil. Euro. Domo, with Altex and Flanco, is one of the first players on the electro retail market with deals of over 200 mil. Euro last year.
