Winmarkt Brăila joins the ShoeBox campaign

– Put a smile on a child’s face for the holidays –

Winmarkt Brăila supports the ShoeBox campaign, the gift from the shoe box, and becomes a location partner starting this year, with the support of the Lumina foundation. People are encouraged to donate things or sweets to children from underprivileged areas, which can fit in a shoebox. Thus, until December 15, people can bring their donation boxes to the collection point in the Winmarkt Brăila shopping center on the 2nd floor, and between December 16-24 they will be distributed to children.

ShoeBox is about people helping other people, altruism and compassion. Every year, around the Christmas holidays, the ShoeBox campaign aims to put a smile on the faces of tens of thousands of poor children in the cities where we live.

“We are glad to be able to support this commendable initiative – ShoeBox and we rely on the contribution of the local community to help families from different disadvantaged areas. I am sure that people will respond positively and through these small gestures we can build bigger things over time.” declares Marian Huzum, director of the shopping center Winmarkt Brăila.
